U-PICK AT STEELBOW FARM
STRAWBERRY SEASON IS UPON US.
STRAWBERRY U-PICK WILL OPEN 6/10.
Regular hours will be Wednesdays, and Friday- Sunday 8-1
We will close when picked out. Check our instagram or call our BERRY line at (518)291-8875 for updates and picking conditions.
Be a part of our story. Make some memories and feel the warm summer sun on your skin as your pick perfectly ripe berries. Eat them immediately or save summer by making your own jam and preserves.
The pick your own season begins in June with strawberries still warm from the sun. Then come Blueberries in July, a pop of sweet-tart flavor dripping from ripening trusses. October is for pumpkins. Come pick classic jack o’lanterns, decorative gourds and pie varieties.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
A few guidelines:
We are always first come, first pick!
Strawberries are $6/lb. Blueberries are $7.5/lb, we request a 2# minimum per group.
While we love dogs, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them here on the farm.
You can always bring your own containers. If you don't have any, we have plenty of buckets for you to use to pick, and sell various containers to take your berries home with you in.
We take cards, cash & check (yes apple pay too).
This is a working farm with uneven terrain, grasses and straw mulch (which is a bit pokey). Close-toed shoes are highly recommended for picking.
While we are happy for you to sample the berries, please be mindful we are a small farm and this is how we make our livelihood (one pound of fruit at a time). Encourage your young children to wait to eat berries until after you have checked out.
Always check for ticks after you visit! While we don’t tend to find them in the berry fields, we are a farm upstate and tick checks are always a good idea!
