Steelbow Farm is hiring for the 2019 season. We are looking for part-time (20-30 hours) positions, with the possibility of more hours as the season progresses. Work commences mid-May and wraps up in mid-October.

ability to lift 50 lbs, spend much time bent over, and be on one’s feet for the majority of the work day

problem solving skills and an aptitude for thinking on one’s toes
the ability to laugh at oneself
seriousness about working efficiently & steadfastly
tolerance for NPR, and all kinds of music
participate in all aspects of production, including but not limited to:
greenhouse seeding, maintenance and record keeping
transplanting, direct seeding
weed control: hoeing, tarping, mulch application
harvest & processing of produce for market
caterpillar tunnel maintenance
Starting pay will be determined on experience. Farming experience is a plus, but not required.
